Interinstitutional invitation to tender for security guard and reception services at European Union House in Ljubljana, Slovenia
Service type 1: routine services.
The contracting authority wishes to have security/reception service posts occupied during opening hours on days when the European Union House is open. The exact number of security/reception service posts as well as the opening and closing hours will be notified to tenderers during the compulsory site visit.
The guard/reception services entail the following tasks: operation and inspection of general security installations (intruder detection, video surveillance, visitor screening using metal detectors, baggage and mail by X-ray, access-card control), operation of the air-lock entrance to the building, doing rounds both indoors and outdoors (where applicable) periodically, inspection of suspicious parcels and mail, evacuation of staff in the event of a crisis, collaboration with the police force at the awarding authority's request, management of keys and master keys, control of incoming and outgoing goods and deliveries, telephone helpline and visitor ID controls, and doing opening and closing rounds at the European Union House.
Service type 2: emergency interventions.
The awarding authority wishes to have a remote surveillance and assistance service during opening hours and after opening hours in the event of an emergency.
Service type 3: surveillance rounds.
The service required entails an independent patrol unit doing 2 rounds around the periphery of the building or site over a 24-hour period when the premises are closed.
The start date of the services will be 12.8.2011.
